This allows the nylon to be stretched without compromising quality, and provides high strength with a very low elongation of only 21%. The production process, which is an improved annealing process, ensures long and strong molecular chains.
As a result, "Sufix Super 21" is resistant to friction, impacts and knots. During production, the nylon is repeatedly cooled to a very low temperature and then heated up again.
This process gives the nylon excellent elasticity. The combination of ultra-high viscosity nylon and the improved annealing process increases the average elongation of Sufix Super 21 to just 21%. It is 40% lighter than traditional monofilament nylon.
